Choosing the right elements about interior lighting is not an easy task: the right lighting in the various domestic environments helps us create the right atmosphere. Every room in the house will, therefore, need a different light, so as to be truly welcoming.
Let's see how best to orient ourselves towards choosing the right indoor lighting based on the type of environment and the type of lamp we choose.

HOW MANY TYPES OF INDOOR LAMPS EXIST?

To begin with, we will certainly have to identify the type of lighting suitable for our interiors.
Interior lamps can be divided into the following categories:
1.     Wall lamps: suitable for diffused lighting in corridors or as a complement to another lighting in our room;
2.     Suspension lamps: certainly the protagonists of large rooms, both in terms of size and importance from a lighting point of view;
3.     Floor lamps: essential in living areas, to have a punctual light where needed;
4.     Table lamps: used both as a piece of furniture and as a lighting fixture for a punctual light. They are suitable for both the living area and the sleeping area;
5.     Recessed lamps: it is a type of lighting widely used both in service areas such as corridors, stairs, etc. both as a complement to the lighting in the living area or kitchen. This category also includes adjustable spotlights, which are widely used especially in the kitchen, where we need a type of lighting directed in certain areas.
6.     LED strips: this type of lighting widely used in luxury yacht interiors but lately also in residential interiors, is ideal as complementary lighting both in the living area and in the sleeping area, where there is a need to have a more intense light.
We will therefore have to choose the right type of lighting for interiors also according to the environment to be illuminated.
Each area will need a different type of light, and we will have to be careful not to make the mistake of over lighting areas where not much light is required, and vice versa.
